Your contribution will be of immense value to six young changemakers, who are on the front lines of the coronavirus fight sensitizing poor farming communities in remote areas of Africa and South Asia about health and hygiene.
Called Entrepreneurs for Rural Access or ERA’s, these changemakers are using training videos of Access Agriculture, an international non-profit organization, to improve farmer incomes.
These ERAs and the farming communities they serve are at high risk of exposure to COVID-19 as they lack adequate resources, such as the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
A contribution of $3000 will provide each of the 6 ERAs with the following resources for their sensitization and training courses for 3 months:
- 200 masks
- 2 liters of hand sanitizer
- 10 liters of room sanitizer
- 1 forehead thermometer
- 50 safety gloves
- and soap for the communities
